The coarse sponge presents an abundant surface area for proper biological filtration by removing waste, excess food, harmful ammonia, and nitrates while promoting much needed healthy bacterial growth.
This aquarium filter system is equipped with quick-disconnect tubing connectors that can also be utilized to control the filter’s flow rate. Four locking clamps along with a motorhead equipped with an integrated O-ring is present in this filter to ensure a secure and watertight fit.
