K9 Natural Ltd Voluntarily Recalls Imported Dog Food Due To Listeria

April 14, 2018 – K9 Natural Ltd is voluntarily recalling 4 batches of its K9 Natural Frozen Chicken Feast, which were imported into the US in June 2017, due to a potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

Listeria monocytogenes bacteria can affect animals eating the contaminated products and humans are also at risk after handling the products, especially if you don’t wash your hands thoroughly with soap afterward.

  • These Four Batches of Recalled Products were imported from K9 Natural Foods Limited, which is a New Zealand-based company founded in 2006, into the US market in June 2017.
  • The Batch numbers and expiration dates are stamped in the bottom left on the back of the pack.
  • No pet or human illnesses, injuries or complaints have been reported to date, regarding this recall.

  • If you have purchased this brand of the product recently, you are advised to check the lot code to see if the product is affected.
  • If the batch code matches you should stop using the product and return the unused portion to the place of purchase for a full refund or replacement.
