Party Animal Recalls Cocolicious Canned Dog Food Due To Pentobarbital

April 17, 2017 – Party Animal Inc. recalls specific lots of its Cocolicious Canned Dog Food due to some varieties being tested positive for the euthanasia drug, pentobarbital.

This is another one of the pentobarbital contaminations we have seen in our pet’s food in recent months, leaving us wondering how safe is the food we feed our beloved pets.

Oral exposure to pentobarbital can cause side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, excitement, loss of balance, nausea, nystagmus (eyes moving back and forth in a jerky manner), inability to stand and coma.
